🎨 The Core Tactile Family
1. 부드럽다 — to be soft 🧸
A broad word for softness — fabric, skin, food, even personalities.
- 이 담요는 정말 부드러워요. (This blanket is so soft.)
- 아기 피부는 정말 부드러워요. (Baby skin is so soft.)
Note: ㅂ-irregular — 부드럽다 → 부드러워요 / 부드러운 / 부드럽게.
2. 까칠하다 — to be rough / coarse (mild) 🌾
Describes a mild roughness — dry skin, stubble, slightly textured fabric.
- 겨울에는 피부가 까칠해지기 쉬워요. (In winter, skin easily becomes rough.)
- 면도를 안 해서 턱이 까칠해요. (He didn't shave, so his chin is rough/stubbly.)
Note: Milder than 거칠다 — often used for dryness or stubble, not severe roughness.
