1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your access to and use of the Iru Korean website at irukorean.com, the community platform at community.irukorean.com, and all related services (collectively, the Service), operated by GITD Ltd. Co., Albuquerque, NM, United States.
By accessing or using our Service, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.
2. The Service
Iru Korean provides the following products and services:
  • Online Korean language lessons across multiple levels β€” Basics, Grammar, Speaking, Vocabulary, Intermediate, Advanced, and TOPIK preparation
  • A student workbook template delivered via Notion
  • A members community hosted at community.irukorean.com
  • Korean digital planners for purchase
  • 1-on-1 private Korean classes booked via Lunacal
  • A free Travel Korean guide
  • Practice hub and Korean helper tools
Content and features available to you depend on your subscription tier. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or make a purchase
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must provide accurate and current information when registering or subscribing
  • One account per person β€” you may not share your account or subscription access with others
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
4. Subscriptions and Payment
4.1 Subscription tiers
Iru Korean offers the following subscription plans:
  • Free β€” limited access to selected content including Travel Korean
  • Premium β€” full access to all lessons, the student workbook, Practice Hub, and community
  • Annual β€” same as Premium with a discounted annual rate
  • Achieve β€” all Premium benefits plus 2 private classes per month
4.2 Billing
  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis β€” monthly or annually depending on your chosen plan
  • Payment is processed securely via Stripe
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date
  • You authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
4.3 Refunds
We offer a prorated refund within 15 days of your initial purchase or most recent renewal date. To request a refund, email one@irukorean.com with your order details. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
The following are non-refundable:
  • Purchases of digital planners once downloaded or accessed
  • Private class bookings once the session has been attended
  • Any portion of a subscription used beyond the 15-day refund window
For private class cancellations, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule at no charge.
5. Student Workbook
Upon subscribing to a paid plan, you will receive a link to the Iru Korean student workbook template hosted on Notion. By clicking Duplicate in Notion, you create your own private copy of the workbook in your personal Notion workspace.
  • The workbook template is for personal, non-commercial use only
  • You may not redistribute, resell, or share the workbook template link with non-subscribers
  • Once duplicated, your copy is your own β€” we cannot push updates to it automatically
  • The workbook template link is delivered in your welcome email and is unique to your subscription
6. Community
Premium and Achieve subscribers gain access to the Iru Korean community at community.irukorean.com, powered by Bullet. By participating in the community, you agree to:
  • Be respectful and constructive in all interactions with other members
  • Not post spam, promotional content, or unsolicited advertising
  • Not harass, threaten, or intimidate other members
  • Not share content that is offensive, discriminatory, or illegal
  • Not share your community access or invite link with non-subscribers
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or ban members who repeatedly violate community standards, without refund.
7. Private Classes
Private class bookings are managed through Lunacal at lunacal.ai/irukorean. The following conditions apply:
  • Classes must be booked in advance via the Lunacal booking link provided
  • Achieve subscribers receive 2 complimentary sessions per subscription month β€” unused sessions do not roll over to the following month
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled class are non-refundable and the session is forfeited
  • Rescheduling is available with at least 24 hours notice at no charge
  • We reserve the right to reschedule a class due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, with a full session credit offered
8. Digital Planners
Korean digital planners are sold as one-time purchases and delivered as digital files. Once a planner has been downloaded or accessed, it is non-refundable. Planners are for personal use only and may not be redistributed or resold.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on irukorean.com and community.irukorean.com β€” including lessons, graphics, text, audio, video, workbook templates, planners, and tools β€” is owned by GITD Ltd. Co. or its content providers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property law.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission
  • Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own learning purposes only
  • Iru Korean, 이루, and associated logos are trademarks of GITD Ltd. Co. and may not be used without permission
10. User-Generated Content
By posting content in our community, you grant Iru Korean a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content within the Service for community purposes. You retain ownership of your content. You are solely responsible for anything you post and confirm that it does not violate any third-party rights.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
  • The accuracy, completeness, or suitability of our content for any particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service
  • Results achieved from using our Korean language learning materials
Language learning results vary by individual. Iru Korean does not guarantee fluency, test scores, or any specific learning outcome.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GITD Ltd. Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
13. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing one@irukorean.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you:
  • Violate these Terms or our community guidelines
  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Fail to pay your subscription fees
Upon termination, your access to the Service and community will end. Your duplicated Notion workbook remains in your own Notion workspace and is unaffected.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Mexico.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
